Yale Summer Program

During the summer of 2002, I spent 5 weeks at Yale University, taking courses in Genomics and Ecology & Evolutionary Biology. I made new friends, experenced the whole social scene, etc. I had a great time, and got a greater idea of what college life is really like (unlike the previous summer, when I was doing research and therefore didn't actually have classes). Anyway, here's more information about my experiences at Yale.

Genomics

This was a fun course. I really learned a lot about methods in molecular biology, as well as how these methods are used along with computer information to gain a greater understanding of genes. It was, overall, a great experience. Definitely a good class.

Ecology & Evolutionary Biology

Sadly, I cannot say that this was the best choice for a second class. It was taught at too low a level for me. It wasn't all old material; much of the behaivorial ecology was new to me. It's just that, I did know a lot of the material already, especially near the beginning when we were taught about Darwinian evolution and such. Oh well. Still, it was a good experience overall.

Friends

Here are some pictures of me and my friends. They are mainly here so my friends can download them for their own use, but you're free to enjoy these pictures as well.

Miscellenous

Here will be some more pictures which I couldn't justify putting in the other category. I mean, pictures of NYC or Stiles College (the part of Yale I stayed in) are nice, but they're not "friends", per se.
